Funny Videos

Aubrey making Logan laugh

The girls love to play fight or wrestle with one another. I am surprised they haven't really hurt each other! Below is a video of them "play fighting".

Everytime Brian has to wake up Ethan he is still half asleep and does the most bizarre things. Here is one of those times! It is pretty funny!

When I was pregnant the girls used to sing Twinkle Twinkle to my belly because I explained to them that what they sing while he is in my belly can comfort him when he comes out of my belly. Below is a video of the girls singing to Logan!

100 Days of School!

In kindergarten the 100th day of school is a big deal! So they celebrated it by doing different crafts involving counting to 100. I volunteered in their class so below are a few pictures of that day.

The kids get awards at school...AGAIN!

The girls teachers sent us a note home letting us know they were getting student of the month. Their teachers said it wasn't planned for both of them to get it at the same time (they have different teachers). So we went and turns out Ethan received the principals award! So all three of them got an award and to reward them we took them to Chuck E Cheese. I told Brian Logan has some big shoes to fill! They are all doing so well in school. Why can't they behave like that while at home??? I guess that is just what kids do! We are very proud of them all!

Brooklyn and Aubrey in Gymnastics!

The girls joined gymnastics today. They LOVED it and I must say it looks like it is going to be great exercise for them. They went on the balance beam, and a bouncey thing, and learned cartwheels, as well as how to balance. It is nice to get them in something they enjoy. Below are some videos of their first day at gymnastics...look out 2012 Olympics...HERE COME THE ELROD GIRLS!

Logan Elrod

Okay I know what everyone must be thinking...is there a Logan? What is going on? Why hasn't she posted any pictures??? If anyone actally reads this anyway...but to answer my own question...yes Logan is finally here! He was born on Thanksgiving Day November 27th at 10:08PM weighing in at 7lbs 12oz 18.5 inches long. What an amazing and smooth delivery. It was so awesome to be able to share the experience with my husband (of course), my mother, my mother in-law, and my dearest friend Lindsay. Many people told me they would never have that many people in the room and that it is an experience that should be shared with your hubby...well I disagree! Although it was a little loud at times, the emotion that filled the room was unbelievable, and unforgettable. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience! It made it all that much more heart warming to share it with the people Brian and I care so much about! Motherhood has been awesome. I am lucky enough to have some time off to hang out with the little fella. He is already cooing and smiling and just growing up so fast! He has an awesome older brother and two great big sisters who have helped out a lot. It was a little hectic around the Elrod house at first and down right stressful at times with FOUR kids, but now that we have all adjusted everything is going great. When the kids are here I actually get more done because they are always wanting to hold Logan and be with him. Logan is lucky to have them in his life. So below are a few...okay a TON of pictures we have taken of him since he has blessed us with his presence!

They were going to send me home unless I progressed so I walked and lunged and did stairs! I was determined not to go home! Besides, I couldn't imagine handling three kids and the contractions I was feeling at home either!
